Our mission is to come along side parents and the Church and equip, prepare, and support Daughters of our Heavenly King. We realize that each young woman has a specific calling on her life, given to her from God, supported by the Word and His Holy Spirit. Through the Word, we endeavor to encourage and equip others to live out their callings and follow the Great Commission in the ways God has ordained for them.
“And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Our Statement of Faith:
We believe in one God, Creator and Lord of the universe, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:29; John 10:30; Acts 5:3–4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:1–3)
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is God’s authoritative, inspired Word, without error in all its teachings, including creation, history, its own origins and salvation. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of belief and conduct and is the divinely authoritative standard for every age and every life. (Matthew 5:18; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:19–21; Revelation 22:18–19)
We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary, atoning death on the Cross, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven, where as truly God and truly man, He is the only mediator between God and man. (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6–7; Matthew 1:18–25; Mark 14:61–62; Luke 3:22; John 1:1–3, 14, 29, 5:18, 8:58, 10:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5–11; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 5:20)
We believe in the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit for the individual’s new birth and growth to maturity, and for the Church’s constant renewal in truth, wisdom, faith, holiness, love, power, and mission. Every believer is called to live and walk in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit so that he will bear fruit to the glory of God and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. (John 14:16–17, 26, 15:26–27, 16:7–15; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9, 14; 1 Corinthians 2:10–11, 6:19, 12:4–13; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Galatians 5:16–18, 22–23; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18–21)
We believe that all people are lost sinners and cannot see the Kingdom of God, except through the new birth, which takes place through repentance of sin and faith toward God. Justification is by grace through faith in Christ alone is entirely apart from good works, baptism, church membership or man’s effort. (John 1:11–13, 3:16, 5:24, 10:28–30, 14:6; Romans 3:23–26, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:5; Hebrews 7:24–25; 1 Peter 1:18–19; 1 John 5:11–13)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, which is made up of all believers everywhere in the world. We believe that it should be the goal of every Christian to become a disciple of Christ by growing toward spiritual maturity through the knowledge of and obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Holy Spirit, who indwells and seals all believers at the moment of salvation. Locally, the church is a group of believers who are organized to do God’s will. Its calling is to worship God and witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, preaching the Gospel among all nations, and demonstrating its commitment by compassionate service to the needs of human beings and promoting righteousness and justice. (Acts 2:41–47; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:22–23; Colossians 1:18; Hebrews 10:25)
We believe we have been baptized by one Spirit into one body and recognize the value and equality of all members of the body of Christ. We are all one in Christ Jesus. We actively support the unity of all believers eclipsing all denominational, economic, or ethnic diversities. We believe we have different kinds of gifts but the same Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:13, Galatians 3:28, 1 Corinthians 12:4)
We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return in glory to raise the dead and bring salvation and judgment to completion. God will fully manifest His Kingdom when He establishes a new heaven and new earth, in which He will be glorified forever and exclude all evil, suffering, and death. (John 14:2–3; Romans 14:10–12; 1 Corinthians 15:51–54; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:15–17; Revelation 20:11–15, 22:12–17)
